Limited Edition is referred to prints and artworks produced in a specific, predetermined quantity or specific time window. Each print is numbered (e.g., 1/100, 2/100), indicating its place in the edition.
Artist's Proof (A/P) are a small number of prints (typically 5-20% of the edition size) set aside for the artist’s personal use. They are often marked as "A/P" or "AP" instead of numbered like the regular edition.
While both are created with the same materials and methods, artist's proofs are seen as more unique because of their traditional association with the artist's personal collection.
-
All editions come with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA). Each piece is also numbered and signed by the artist.
Our Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) are offered by Always Art, a platform that uses digital tools to enhance art documentation and transparency. These COAs go beyond typical verification by combining digital and physical formats, allowing art collectors, galleries, and artists to track provenance, ownership, and authenticity over time.
